Sandry Law 首次遇到這粗糙的金色亞麻，是在一趟前往大理北部山丘的採購之旅。一個小小的編織合作社——由同一個家族三代人經營——自 1950 年代起便一直在生產窄幅亞麻布用於家庭使用，卻從未製成衣服。Sandry 帶了一塊樣品回到昆明，與一位當地裁縫花了三個月時間，將傳統的 cha pao 廓形轉化成能裁剪自他們手織布料的版型。成果是一件穿如第二層皮膚的長袍：無省道、無鈕扣，僅以單片布料摺疊並用側結固定。每件長袍皆為接單裁剪，減少浪費，且每件長袍都經過同一雙編織布料的手。我們選用中等磅數的亞麻布——680 克——讓它既垂墜又不易在長時間茶席中起皺。版型專為身高 165–175 公分設計，寬鬆剪裁足以容納注水時的前傾姿勢。當你收到時，長袍已預洗處理，觸感柔軟；你只需沖泡第一壺茶。
